I took a walk up to Mither Tap, Bennachie for some drone footage and aerial photography.
Bennachie is a range of hills in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is 12 miles from Inverurie (where I live) and looms large over the town.
There are various walking routes up Bennachie, this particular one starts at the Rowentree car park.
It is a reasonably steep, rocky walk up to Mither Tap from the Rowantree. Mither Tap stands at a height of 518 m (1699 feet) and the walk takes about 2 hours in total.
Mither Tap is not the top of Bennachie, Oxen Craig is 10 metres higher. However, there are amazing views from Mither Tap and also the remains of a Pictish Fort.
